Adjustable Band Station: Care and Usage
You have received your Adjustable Band Station and you have installed it using the installation guide provided. You know what exercises you are going to perform with the Band Station and if you have used it, then you know how user friendly this adjustable resistance band wall mount is. However, this blog is going to provide a couple tips and tricks that will improve your experience even more.
1. Completing a Set and Now You Are Done with the Bands
When you are finished with your set and your muscles are tired and lack their typical abilities, it is tempting to let go of the resistance bands in order to shake out your arms. We recommend that, if your bands have hooks, handles, or something that is hard on the ends you should let them go gently so they don't damage the outside of the track or your wall. We understand that all users do not share the same mobility and bending over to rest the bands directly against the wall is not a reasonable possibility, so we are going to provide an alternative. Once completed with a set, grab the end of both bands in one hand, then with the other hand grab the bands about one third of the way to hook from the handles. Release the end with the handle, the bands should not swing and hit the wall. Then, slide your hand toward the hook until the bands are in a resting position.
2. Fastening the Adjustable Hook into Place
This tip is a very simple one. When you are adjusting the the hook, do not over-tighten the handle. Aluminum is a soft metal and if you over tighten the handle it can damage the aluminum. Light wear on the aluminum is inevitable and does not impede usage of the band station. Tightening the handle only until feeling slight tension is necessary because the nut gets wedged in track and then is not able to be easily moved up or down.
Hopefully these tips are helpful to any Adjustable Band Station owners. If you have any specific questions about care or usage for your band station, please contact support@livetame.com, we will be happy to help!
